However bite sized muffins are an acceptable substitute. Of course one must not forget the preserves, strawberry is traditional, but the exotic can add spice to this course as well. This is the course in which clotted cream is normally served, sometimes you can fitness evolution jars of “Devonshire” cream at the more exclusive specialty markets, however unsweetened whipped cream is an american version of this sinful delight.

Question Ideas: Before the trip, have each child make up Q&A cards for themselves on index cards. The subject can be whatever subject they are trying to learn. Parents can make cards for little children. These cards are used in the paper games. Or while on the trip, hand out index cards and have the children write on their card, using their own names: ‘Joe’s favorite food’, ‘Joe’s favorite color’, ‘Sue’s best talent’, ‘Mom’s best dessert’, and so on. Everyone then has to write their answer on the back of each question card. Use these cards in the board games as a form of Get to Know You. Parents can even make up cards in the hotel at night about the places the family visited that day and what they learned.
